GOD THE PARENT

We call God the Parent “Tenri-O-no-Mikoto.” God the Parent created human beings and the world to see their Joyous Life—where people help one another and live joyously—and to share in it. God the Parent is God of Origin, God in Truth, who created human beings and the world where there was nothing but a muddy ocean long, long time ago and continues to protect us with divine blessings now as ever before.

God the Parent provides us with the blessings that allow us to live in good health. These blessings include the workings of the body such as the ability to breath, see and eat in addition to natural phenomena such as sunlight, rain, and others that help animals and plants grow. Just as parents raise their children in a caring manner, God the Parent is working for all human beings with a caring and loving heart.

That is why we intimately refer to God as “God the Parent.” We use the divine name “Tenri-O-no-Mikoto” when we pray and express our gratitude to God the Parent.

The reason Tsukihi began human beings was

the desire to see you lead a joyous life.
